These are a set of songs I wrote in 2016, and have been working on ever since. The sound is heavy and diverse. If you’re a fan of my offerings in the band Future Corpse then you’ll find something to enjoy here.
It is completely self produced. The songs are personal, and reflect a time in which I was recovering from depressive episodes. I sang about societal collapse, mental decline and transformation, and of experiences with growing up and creating identity outside of dominant culture.
I’m proud of these songs and am deeply connected to them, but ultimately relieved to be rid of them. My baby is all grown up and can now leave home, and I will hopefully not need to wipe its ass any more.
